Jo Ella Russo, age81, entered into rest in Modesto, CA. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Opal and Samuel Curtis. She was preceded in death by her first husband, three children, one grandchild, one brother and two sisters.
Jo Ella is survived by her loving husband Peter of 37 years. Four grandchildren: Leia Pinto, Colleen Phelps, Eddie Hensley and Destiney Curtis. Sister, Sharon Varner. Eight great-grandchildren and a multitude of devoted nieces and nephews.
Jo Ella worked for Tri-Valley Growers as a Supervisor for 30 years. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, gambling and being with family and friends. She never met a stranger and had a laugh that would fill a room. She will be greatly missed.
There will be a viewing for Jo Ella on Tuesday, October 2nd, 4-8 pm and services Wednesday, October 3rd at 11:00am at Lakewood Cemetery, located at 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, Ca.
