John Sanchez

Our loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son and husband, John Sanchez, died peacefully on February 6, 2022. He was preceded in death by his precious wife of 53 years, Elizabeth “Deedee his love” Sanchez, who passed on March 25, 2021. John was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp where he proudly served his country in Vietnam for two tours of duty. John loved spending time with his family. Whether it was making breakfast for them, telling them stories, or dropping everything to pick up a grandchild who needed a ride, John was devoted to his family. He also loved going to bingo with his Deedee my love and they never missed a trip to the casinos, Black Oak and Cache Creek were their favorites.

He is survived by his daughters; Dolores and Christina, his son; John Jr, his sons in law; Danny and Jesus, his daughter in law; Eileen, and his grandchildren; Daniel, Candace, Miranda, Jet, Gaby and grand-daughter-in-law, Gladys. He also took an active role as a grandparent to James and Aiden Bojorquez.

His family finds comfort in knowing he is reunited with Deedee his love and we are sure they are going to every Bingo and Casino they can find in Heaven!

Family and friends are invited to funeral services for John on Tuesday, February 22nd at 11:00am at Lakewood Funeral Home - Heritage Chapel, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326. Following the funeral service there will be a Military Graveside Service at 1:30pm at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 McCabe Road, Santa Nella, CA 95322.
