Modesto, California—Kent Taylor passed away at his home on February 5, 2021. He was born January 18, 1945 in Oakdale, California. The son of Autry Taylor and Gladys (Sillivent) Taylor. He married Karon (Helton) Taylor and lived in Modesto, then moved to Riverbank, Ca where they had their home day care "Nana & Papas daycare". Kent and Karon were married for 35 years until her passing. Kent was a believer in the Lord and loved Jesus.

Kent is preceded in death by his grandparents Henry Taylor, Mabel Taylor, Lewis Sillivent and Flora Sillivent. Parents Autry Taylor and Gladys Taylor. Sister Betty (Taylor) Campbell, Wife Karon (Helton) Taylor and granddaughter Tondi Mason.

Survived by Wife Linda Black-Modesto, Ca. Brothers Lloyd Taylor-Porterville, Ca Arnold TaylorSan Diego, Ca, Jerry Taylor-Oakdale, Ca. and sister Debra Taylor-Escalon, Ca. Son Chance Mason-Oakdale, Ca, Son Rick Taylor-Escalon, Ca, daughter Michelle (Mason) Burris-Escalon, Ca. Grand children-Chris Uva, Erin Taylor, Cherelle Mason, Larissa Mason, Kylie Burriss, Ashley Schroder and Kassidy Burriss. Also seven great grand children & many nieces and nephews.

Kent loved riding motorcycles, deer hunting, watching his many plants & trees grow and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great grand children.

The service will be held on February 23, 2021 at Lakewood Funeral Home 900 Santa Fe Ave. Hughson, CA 95326. Visitation is scheduled at 11:30-1:00pm, Funeral Service at 1:00pm followed by a burial at Lakewood Memorial Park.
