Manuel Olivera, 71 of Delhi, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 10, 2015 at his home. At the age of 71, he still participated in operating a harvester during peak season; a job he loved. Those he worked with were his longtime friends who respected him as the good man he was, his strong work ethic, and his overall knowledge of operating and maintaining farm equipment. Manuel also had leisure interests that included hobby trains (HO), woodworking, mechanical ventures and least of all gardening. He was in the National Guard and an advocate for Veterans, with a strong devotion to his family, friends and country.
Manuel is survived by his sisters Louise (Harlowe) Olivera of Delhi and Dorothy Marie Olivera of Modesto and a godson Nicholas Cardenas of Turlock. He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Angela Olivera
