Maria De La Cruz Camacho

Maria De La Cruz “Ojeda Partida” Camacho passed away on March 13, 2016 after a brave battle against cancer. She was born in Nayarit, Mexico to parents Salvador and Asuncion Ojeda. They raised their 12 children in Tetitlan, Nayarit. Maria’s siblings were Federico, Efren, Raul, Erlinda, Javier, Dolores, Ruben, Caritina, Francisco, Salvador and Eusebio.

Maria married the love of her life, Celso Camacho Ibañez, on April 1975 in Tetitlan, Nayarit. They had three children Karina, Daniel and Adrian and four grandchildren Yohan, Destiny, Arion and Jr. Maria had some experience as a field and cannery worker and was a refurnishing technician, however she spent the majority of her life caring for her family as a home maker. Her favorite vacations were in Clearwater, Florida and Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee. Maria loved to sew and was especially skilled in embroidery. She was a devoted Catholic woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends including Juana Fletes, Josefina Chavarin, Milia Gonzales and Juana Martinez. Maria was a beautiful person inside and out and will be immensely missed by all those who know and love her.
