

Lynn was born on February 28, 1934, in West Point, OH, where he lived until graduating from Lisbon High School.
After serving in the Army in Alaska and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree at Northwest Nazarene College, he married the love of his life, Elaine Anderson on July 7, 1961, and together they had 4 children.
Mr. Brown also attended seminary in Kansas City, MO, became an ordained Nazarene pastor and went on to pastor churches in Missouri, Nevada, Washington, Oregon and California. While living in California, he also drove school bus for 3 school districts for multiple generations.
His passions included writing poems for any and all occasions, working on his VW bugs, and traveling extensively, especially to the beach, Cody, WY and Custer, SD. He also truly loved attending as many sporting events as possible at Hughson High, Denair High and Turlock Christian. He was known as the beloved Mr. Brown by all the students.
He was preceded in death by his parents, multiple siblings, his wife Elaine and his grandson Shane.
He is survived by his son, Mark (Pam) Brown of Roundup, MT; daughters, Cindy (Randy) Woods of Riverbank, CA; Crystal Trovao of Denair, CA; and Erica (Bob) Schertler of Sullivan, MO; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandson; sisters, Margaret Mitchell of Neosho, MO and Emma Sattler of Port St Lucie, FL: brothers, Jay Brown of Uhrichsville, OH and Ron Brown of Diamond, MO.
