Michael Paul Lenahan February 1, 1944 – April 18, 2022 Modesto, California

On Monday, April 18, 2022, Michael Paul Lenahan passed away peacefully in Modesto, California at the age of 78. Michael was born on February 1, 1944, in Modesto, California to Clarence and Wilma Lenahan. Michael graduated from Thomas Downey High School in 1961 and attended Modesto Junior College while working part-time at the Modesto Bee. In 1965 he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was assigned to Strategic Air Command Headquarters at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska as a Computer Specialist. He served for six years and was honorably discharged in 1971. He briefly attended the University of Nebraska, Omaha before returning to Modesto. After returning to Modesto he held various jobs and was very active in numerous charitable and public service organizations as well as veteran’s groups.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother Robert, sister-in-law Donna, nephew Andrew and niece Erin.

Michael was a considerate and caring person who will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be held on May 19, 2022 at 10:00 am at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, California.
