Mildred Jane Rose

Mildred Jane Rose was born in Red Oak, Oklahoma on October 18, 1919 to Ernest D. Myers and Bessie B. Myers (Shirley). The family moved to Detroit, Michigan 1923, by train. She always talked about that train ride. The family moved to California in 1929 and she lived in Patterson, CA, until 1947 when she moved to Modesto with her husband and 3 children. She retired from her job in 1979 at the age of 60 when she and her husband moved to Pioneer, CA. She was married to her husband, Jack William Rose for almost 50 years when he passed. She passed to heaven at her daughter home in Valley Springs, CA.

She was preceded into passing by her husband Jack Rose, son, Michael (Mickey) Rose, Grandson Paul Wilson, Parents, brother; Frank Myers and Clarence Myers; sisters Ruby Collins and Evangeline Posey and longtime companion Marty Gruver.

She is survived by daughter Sharon Wilson(Woody) of Valley Springs and Gayle Bonzi(Jim) of Modesto. Brother, Ernest Myers(Bonita) of Ceres. Grandchildren: Michael Rash(Debbi) of La Grange, Rick Santos(Kathleen) of Lodi, Susan Rose(Rick) of El Dorado, Will P. Santos(Judy) of Modesto, David Rose(Diane) of Fresno, Todd Wilson(Lisa) of Tacoma, WA. Great Grandchildren: Jeremy and Cheyanne Rash, Will T., Danyel, Tony and Eva Santos, Brent and Fallon Rose, and Tabby Wilson, Braindi Wilson, Brian Davis, Bryce Stoskopf and Alisha Webb. Great, Great Grandchildren: AJ Wilson, Bently and Royce Davis. Graveside Service will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park and Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 12pm also as followed will be a lunch in.
