OCTOBER 21, 1931 - DECEMBER 23, 2014
San Francisco native Nancy Hickey graduated from Galileo High in 1949. She worked 30 years for PT&T. After taking early retirement, she worked part time for SF Convention Bureau, where she met her loving husband, James G. Hickey. They enjoyed a happy retirement together in Corpus Christi, TX, where Jim died in 2004. Nancy’s parents, Angelina and Amerigo Andreini, also predeceased her. Survived by son Paul Puccinelli (Susan), step-daughter Alexsandra
Lefkort (David) and brother Donald Andreini (Steven Crabiel).
Remembered best as a trim and active woman and a lover of all animals, Nancy volunteered several years at SF Zoo’s Penguin Island. Waiting at the Rainbow Bridge, beloved dogs Honey, Penny and Casey. Family extends its profound gratitude to staff at Samaritan Village (Hughson, CA), where Nancy resided since 2009, receiving unwavering and outstanding care during difficult years, and to the doctors, nurses, and support staff at Alexander Cohen Hospice House (Hughson), whose remarkable professional skill and attention made Nancy’s final days as serene and comfortable as possible.
