Patricia Payne

Patricia was born on August 4, 1943 in Alameda County, California to the late Richard and Cordie Shannon. Patricia was a devoted stay at home mother to her two daughters. She was perfectly imperfect. In her role as wife, mother, sister and daughter, she loved hard and was loyal to a fault. A loved one could not ask for more from someone in their corner.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 43 years James E. Payne of Modesto, her children: daughter Kristie Pearmund and husband Nigel, daughter Jamie Regalado and significant other Richard Miranda, grandchildren Spencer and Riley Pearmund, sisters Peggy Garcia and Barbara Shannon, as well as many extended family members and friends, including her nieces and nephews who meant so much to her.

Patricia and James married on March 7, 1976 in Escalon, California. Their fairy tale wedding was just beginning of what would be a lifetime of companionship. James, Patricia's rock, and Patricia, James's rose. There's someone for everyone is an understatement for these two lovebirds as they were soul mates and meant for one another. Patricia and James enjoyed playing bingo, going to Black Oaks Casino and spending time with their children and grandchildren.

She will forever be remembered for her one of a kind personality that was filled with lots of laughter. She loved to reminisce and share stories of her childhood and the childhoods of her children, nieces and nephews. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. Patricia was a determined and resourceful woman who will be greatly missed.
