

He was a graduate of Oakdale High School's class of 1964. He majored in Business Administration at CSU Stanislaus. He was the winner of the Wall Street Journal award, and graduated in 1968.
He was married to Gayle Buerer (née Yowell) from 1968 to 1978.
Paul was in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1974, having served in the Viet Nam war.
Passing the exam in one try, he worked as a CPA for over 20 years in various accounting firms in California. In the mid 1970s he was a member of the local 20/30 club.
In 2004, he married his longtime girlfriend, Dayna Bonzi.
His many hobbies included photography, art and gun collecting, and classic cars.
Paul lived the majority of his life in the Central Valley. He an his wife lived the last five years in Sunnyside, WA.
He is survived by his father Albert Buerer of Oakdale, daughter Jennifer Tinney (Philip Tinney) of Modesto, wife Dayna Buerer of Sunnyside, WA, sister Shirley Buerer of Port Coquitlam, Canada and Oakdale, stepchildren Janna Mossman of Upton, CA and Andy Bonzi of Sunnyside, WA, four nephews, one grandson, and four step-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by brother Roy Buerer, sister Judy Buerer Homrighausen, and mother Mary Consoli Buerer.

Funeral Service and reception Saturday, October 8 at 10 a.m., Sierra Baptist Church, 74 North Lee Ave, Oakdale, CA.
