

Ralph was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 1, 1935 to Alfred and Letha Jackson. He is survived by his two children, Shari (Rick) Shadley of Oceanside, CA and, Steve (Julie) Jackson of Castle Rock, CO along with his three grandchildren Will Shadley, and Ryan and Mia Jackson. He is also survived by his brother Jim Jackson of Victorville, CA.
His first job was working in his family’s cabinet shop in Compton, CA. In 1972 he started his own business as a builder retiring from the field in 1998. He took pleasure in building homes that first time buyers could afford.
He was an enthusiastic sports fan. He enjoyed participating in many sporting activities, including golf, softball, volleyball, bowling and fishing. He played Senior Softball until age 75. He felt it was time to quit while he still had his original knees, hips, and shoulders. He was an avid golfer. In 1984 he had a hole in one in a tournament at the Mill Creek Country Club giving him the use of a new 1984 Ford Ranchero for a year.
He will be laid to rest on June 11, 2021 at Lakewood Memorial Park & Funeral Home located at 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, CA 95326.
