Raul Rosales

Raul was born on February 24, 1978, to Alicia Perez and Jose Santos Rosales in the city of Los Angeles, California. In the 1980s he and his family migrated to the city of San Jose. In the 1990s, Raul and his family would eventually settle in the city of Modesto. While residing in Modesto, Raul would go on to meet amazing friends whom he’d build great memories with.

Raul’s determination and work ethic were evident in 1995 when he began to work the swing shift at KFC while attending high school during the day. In 1996 after graduation, he continued to work for KFC and in 2002 while on the job, he would go on to meet the woman he would eventually marry, Fanny J. Rodriguez.

In 2005 Raul and Fanny entered into holy matrimony. Together they have three beautiful children: Alondra Natali, Raul Lorenzo, and Daisy Dayannara. Raul was a devoted and loving father. Raul’s greatest passions in life were his family and mechanics. Raul enjoyed working with his hands, which prompted him to pursue his passion for automobiles. Raul would later serve as a technician at Nissan of Modesto for 18 years. His passion for cars helped Raul to build his 1969 Chevy Impala. A few years later his Impala would be featured on the front cover of the Lowrider Magazine.

Raul was a charismatic person who enjoyed being involved in different organizations. Being a member of the Dreamers Car Club as a teenager to being an adult involved in Graffiti Nights, toy drives and spreading Autism awareness.

Raul passed away peacefully in his home on July 14, 2025, at the young age of 47. Raul will always be remembered as a son who loved his parents, a brother you could count on, a father who dedicated his life to his children, and an amazing uncle, cousin, and friend. Let us not forget a loyal Dodgers fan, Green Bay Packers fan and Los Xolos de Tijuana fan. In life when you hear the expressions “ya que,” “una broma en serio,” “pookies” and “I want to be like you when I grow up.” Just remember that Raul said those expressions first.

Raul is survived by his children Alondra Natali, Raul Lorenzo, Daisy Dayannara and the mother of his children Fanny Jovanna Rodriguez. His elderly parents Jose Santos Rosales Estrada and Alicia Perez de Rosales, his two sisters Maria Rosales and Sonia Rosales.
