Rosaline Maxine Ross Collins, age 94, of Modesto, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013. She was born in Volin, South Dakota to parents William and Lily (Engman) Jamison. She was a graduate of Vermillion High School, class of 1936.
Rosaline was a member of the First Congregational Church of Salida, CA. She also was a member of the Kettledrum Antique Club, American Legion Auxiliary and Empire Fire Auxiliary.
Rosaline was preceded in death by her husband Jesse I. Ross; parents, William and Lily Jamison; brother, Eugene Jamison; sister, Donna Scott and sister-in-law Lorraine Jamison.
She is survived by her son, Robert Ross and his wife Judy of Modesto; grandchildren, Laura Ross of Modesto, Shaun Ross of Seattle, WA., Randy Ross of Hawaii, Ryan Ross of Los Angeles; brother-in-law, Don Scott of Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 26th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a graveside service Wednesday, Feb. 27th at 11:00 AM at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, CA. Lakewood Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
