Roy worked in a variety of roles, including barbering, landscaping, and employment at Cipponeri Family Farms. He participated in multiple sports throughout his life, including football, baseball, soccer, golf, and basketball. Most recently, he was raising a steer through his school to show and sell at the fair.
Roy enjoyed working on his Chevy truck, appreciated music, food, and wearing his cowboy boots and hat. He was known for his patience, willingness to help others, and strong Christian faith.
Roy is survived by his parents, Roy Randez and Megan Gunzenhauser, and his sister, Rylee Randez. He is also survived by his grandparents Ruben and Natalie Lopez, and Scott and Shirley Gunzenhauser, along with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held on January 14, 2026, at Lakewood Funeral Home in Hughson, California. A celebration of life will follow at the Tuolumne River Lodge and will continue until 4 p.m.
