Saleshni Kumar

Saleshni was a devoted wife, mother, and friend, known for her generous warmth, love, kindness, and laughter. She is survived by her husband Amar Singh Kumar of Modesto, California; daughter, Nalini Barraza; son-in-law, Alezandro Barraza; and daughter-in-law, Elissa Conchas. While she did not have any grandchildren of her own, she loved and cherished her neighbors Jully Anne and Angel Marquez’s children, Vida, Zoey, and Eva, as her own. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Neil Amar Kumar.

Saleshni’s services will be held on March 26, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home - Riverside Chapel, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, CA, 95326. Witness cremation will take place immediately after the memorial services in the Heritage Chapel.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all family members and friends who aided in the care of Saleshni and the planning of her services.

They also extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Community Hospice team, whose dedication ensured that she was comfortable in her final days. A special thank you to Saryma, Jasmine, and Soknai for their daily care and assistance during Saleshni’s time in their care.

Saleshni Kumar will forever hold a place in our hearts; she will be remembered and loved by all who knew her.
