Shelia was born in Kingman, Arizona on June 6, 1943 and lived in Ceres, California for most of her life. She attended Grace Davis High School. She was a homemaker, former waitress for Happy Steak restaurant and enjoyed playing softball when younger and spending time with family and friends whenever possible.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years Jimmy Bowen, her son Jerry Bowen, her sister Mary Davis and daughters Nanda Freeman, Dana Hurley and Jill Kelly. She was, loved by many family members including several grand and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Dalena in 2016.
Services for Shelia will be held at Lakewood Memorial in Hughson, California on December 27th at 11 AM in the Heritage Chapel. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of choice.
