Teddy Gene Parker

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Heritage Chapel at Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery with the Chaplain Kathy Lane Pinion, officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lakewood Funeral Home.

Teddy was born in Hartman, AR, to the late Albert Monroe and Roxanne Parker on March 15, 1931. Teddy served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He married Mary Brasel on July 2, 1955 in Richmond, CA. He worked at Prescolite Manufacturing in San Leandro, CA and Eldorado, AR for 37 years. Teddy was affectionately referred to as sweetheart by his loving wife, and Old Papa by his adoring great grandchildren. He was a happy, caring, yet stubborn man; and all whom got the pleasure to meet him were greeted with stories “of the good ol’ days.” Teddy is preceded in death by his father Albert Monroe Parker, mother Roxanne Parker, wife Mary Parker, sister Evalina Lane, and brothers Jim, and Paul Parker.

Teddy is survived by his daughters Brenda Parker (Jeff Triplett) of Modesto, CA, and Pamela Graves (Larry Graves) of Manteca, CA. Grandchildren Kerri Heinke (Dave Heinke) of Sunnyvale, CA, Matthew Graves (Chaela Graves) of El Dorado Hills, CA, Amber Griffith of Modesto, CA, Andrew Graves (Noli Graves) of Manteca, Ca, and Benjamin Griffith (Alyssa Griffith) of Riverbank, CA. Great Grandchildren Devon Graves, Cali Graves, Greta Heinke, Magnus Heinke, Audrey Griffith, Alyanna Graves, Jacob Graves, Madison Graves, and Brooklynn Griffith. Brothers Lawrence Don Parker (Shirley Parker) of Hartman, AR, Dane Parker of Coal Hill, AR, and sisters Dorothy Scarberry of Coal Hill, AR, Hilda Ross of Oologah, OK, and Betty Young (Jim Young) of Modesto, CA. Teddy is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren Kerri Heinke, Matthew Graves, Amber Griffith, Andrew Graves, Benjamin Griffith, and Devon Graves.
