Tim always celebrated Life with great enthusiasm and heart—he smiled wide, laughed loud, and lived fully. Tim told me early in our relationship, “Life with me will not be boring,” and he kept his word.
Tim loved to be busy, and pursued many adventures. Some of those he loved were hiking and exploring National Parks, riding quads in the desert, cars, geology, gardening, making jam, our rescue pets, and woodworking. He enjoyed knowing and spending time with many family members, friends, and neighbors. And for all that, Tim constantly showed that his greatest adventure and love and happiness was our family.
Tim grew up in Pasadena, CA, born on the day of a hailstorm and a double rainbow. He brought much cheer and warmth to his family. His career in finance brought him to Ventura County, where we met in 1999 and married in July 2002. Our son Ben is 15, and our son Seth is 13. Tim is also survived by his siblings Greg, Chris, Geoff, Karen, and Pat. He was preceded in death by his sister Kathy.
Be at peace Babe. I love you.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, a memorial service will not be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Tim’s memory to The Yosemite Conservancy (yosemite.org), or the ASPCA (aspca.org) – two causes he cared deeply for.
Thank you for visiting to honor the memory of my beloved husband.
With Love - Julia Francis
