Vic Reed Peden

Vic went to be with our Lord at 1:50 pm on August 30, 2010.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Peden and mother, Maxine Peden.

Born in Iowa, Vic lived most of his life in Modesto, CA. He attended Davis HS,

MJC and graduated from Stanislaus State University with a degree in Political Science.

He was an avid golfer; winning many awards during his academic years. He also

loved fishing, ''The Board'' trips, horse racing, our trips to Reno, and most of all his

dear friends and family.

Vic and Glynda were together for over 10 years, before marrying.

The 25th of September, would have been our 14th Wedding Anniversary.

He was the kindest and most honest man I've ever known. He loved his step-children

as his own.

Vic worked at Carmen's for many years, where he made many friends.

From the early 90's until 2008, he was a store manager for C.W. Brower

Stop and Save where he made many new friends. He was very dedicated

to any job he did. Vic is survived by his loving wife, Glynda, daughter,

Sabrenna Pannacciulli (Christopher), new granddaughter, Stella Grace,

son Johnny Kilgore (Sandy) Whitney, Nicole, Kyle and Korey, brother-in-law

Danny Huffstatler, sisters-in-law, Sheila Vanderslice (Merrill) and Lana Guy (Steve)

as well as 1 niece and 4 nephews.

Vic had so many special friends that he loved dearly; who were always there for him.

But I really want to thank Doug Quaresma. During Vic's illness, Doug was there

morning, noon and night. Thank you so much Doug and Joann.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home,

900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, CA 95326. A reception will follow the service.
