William Metzger went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2013. He was a resident of Waterford and Oakdale. William was a loving husband and father. William was a life long farmer who loved to hunt and golf.
He leaves behind his three daughters, Claudia Birdsong of Groveland, CA, Donna Griffin of Broken Arrow, OK and Kathleen Amerine of Escalon, CA, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret Metzger and son Jeff Metzger.
Memorial Services are planned for Saturday, May 18 at 2 pm at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson. Remembrances can be made to Community Hospice, www.hospiceheart.org/donate.
