

Tony as known to most was born on May 23, 1938, to Miguel Pinon and Carmen Miller in San Pedro City Laguna Philippines.
Antonio “Tony” Pinon was a US Navy 2nd Class Boatswain’s mate during the Vietnam War. He graduated from San Pablo College with a degree in Banking and Finance. Worked at Elizalde International from 1966-1976 and ventured into business creating Pinon & Sons.
Tony loved listening to the classics such as Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, and Nat King Cole. He was an avid fan of classic Western movies.
He was a long-term member and leader of the Kiwanis Club International in San Pablo City, Philippines. The organization helped him channel his philanthropic attribute to help the many in need. When he moved to Santa Clara, CA in the early ’80s, he initiated a Novena group for our Mother of Perpetual Help at the Our Lady of Peace Church and Shrine.
Tony is a God-fearing man, a loving husband to Amor for 60 years. A devoted father to Antonia and Rommel, James and Jessie, Paul and Cherry, John and Kathy, September and Romel Teria, Maria Cirille and Erika, Elizabeth and Dana, Michelle and Jeremy.
Tony’s sense of humor is remembered by his grandchildren Marius & Joel, Anton & Janice, James Anthony & Lauren, Jade & Derik, Romelia & Jacob, Regina, Jaimee & Steve, Janelle & Cameron, John Patrick & Melissa, Jonathan James, Carlos, Francis, Emmanuel, and Christian. Great-grandchildren Antonello, Octavion, Claire, Avery, Aubrey, Josephine, Scarlett, Harper, and Hazel.
Tony is survived by his siblings Rosie, Milagros, and Roger and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Tony joins his parents and siblings Michael, Theresa, Alice, Ramon, and Rose.
Funeral mass will be held on June 25, 2021, at 9:00 am at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church 22800 Aldine Westfield Rd. Spring, TX 77373. Interment with military honors will be held at 1:15 pm at the Houston National Cemetery on 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive Houston, TX 77038.
