Cristi accepted Christ as a Savior at an early age in his hometown Oradea, and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church; later in life, he moved to New York where he enjoyed the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church. He enjoyed listening to Vladimir Pustan’s, Billy Graham, and Chuck Swindoll’s sermons and various Christian songs.
He graduated from Oradea Baptist High School in 1994 and attended two years a Law School in Bucharest when he put it on hold. He had worked in various places in Bucharest, Romania, Houston, Texas, and lately in New York as an assistant manager at Schumacher Cargo Logistics.
Cristi enjoyed fully life, watching soccer, tennis, listening to music, spending time with his friends, and traveling across the United States. He always found comfort in connecting with his brother Mircea, uncle Iosif and their families, as well with his old friends in Houston, Oti and Benji. His social life was always around his numerous friends, and he definitely enjoyed the long hour’s phone conversations with his brothers from Romania, Dinu and Beni.
All who knew him will miss him for his big heart, encouraging words, charm and joy of life, jokes, and above all, his hard work and generosity towards those in need. Cristi leaves to cherish his memory to a loving mother, Lenuta; brothers, Mircea, Dinu, and Beni; many nieces and nephews in Romania and Houston, Paula, Stefi, Flavia, David, Danny, and a host of beloved relatives and friends, Oti, Claudiu, and Ricardo.
The celebration of his life will take place at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, May 14, 2020 at 10:00 on 21723 Aldine -Westfield Rd. with Pastor John Stir officiating it.
