Eshraghollah Vatani passed away May of 2025, leaving behind a legacy as a beloved and devoted individual. Born on October 11, 1954, in Shahi Mazandaran, Iran, to Abbashgholi Vatani and Rezvanieh Fereshtian Vatani, Eshraghollah led a life full of dedication and passion.
He was a professional civil engineer, known for his commitment to his work and his community. Eshraghollah was an active member of the Baha'i Faith, reflecting his deep spiritual beliefs in every aspect of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and had a love for the outdoors and gardening. His passion for music was evident in his enjoyment of playing the tombak and santur.
Eshraghollah is survived by his daughters, Sarah Kate Vatani and her husband Ben Nayebpour, Carmel Navah Vatani and her husband Jeremiah Herron, and Aryana Vatani; his sisters, Tahereh Vatani Khani and Akram Vatani, and his brothers, Behrouz Vatani and Mehrdad Vatani. His legacy continues through his six grandchildren: Blake Aiden, Olivia Rose, Eli Wolf, Isla Knox, Indie Kai, and Arman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abbasgholi Vatani and Rezvanieh Fereshtian Vatani, and his brothers, Bahaeddin Vatani and Nouredin Vatani.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338, on June 28, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shrine of Abdul Baha in his memory.
