Felipa R. Malacara

Felipa R. Malacara, 61, of Houston, Texas , passed away on March 25, 2026. Felipa was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and daughter, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Felipa was born to Consuelo Tijerina and Antonio Rodriguez in San Antonio, Texas on September 11, 1964. She found joy in the simple, meaningful moments of everyday life. She enjoyed spending her time with family, watching her soap operas, playing Bingo, singing, cooking, shopping, and enjoying a good cup of ice.

Felipa leaves behind her husband, Telesforo Malacara of Houston, Texas; daughters Maria Malacara and Vanessa Malacara; sons Rosendo Malacara and Jonathan Malacara; and four grandchildren, Alex, Aiden, Aaliyah, and Luz. She is also survived by her siblings Diana Malacara, Angela Rodriguez, Betty Rodriguez, Gloria Elizondo, Sarita Boatman, Consuelo Torres, Teresa Maldonado, and Antonio Rodriguez.

Felipa was preceded in death by her parents, Consuelo and Antonio; her nephew Omar Sanchez; and Juanita Malacara.

Visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338, on April 2, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on April 3, 2026, at 1:00 pm. With a committal service to follow.
