

Mr. Hefz’u’llah Rouhani, 93, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2023 surrounded by family.
A native of Shiraz, Iran, Mr. Rouhani lived there many years before relocating to the United States. Mr. Rouhani is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Batool Tajeddini-Sarvestani; a sister, Shah Bibi, of Shiraz, Iran; a son, Farhad, of Houston, Texas; five daughters, Ashraf, of Shiraz, Iran, Aghdas and Rudy Shahidpour, of North Augusta, South Carolina, Azam and Fariborz Karimi, of Jacksonville, Florida, Afsaneh and Hooshyar Sanaei, of Gorgan, Iran, Farzaneh and Mehrzad Tajeddini, of Perth, Australia; fourteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Rouhani was a devoted member of the Baha’i Faith for which he endured many trials over the course of his lifetime. Nevertheless, he embodied the core tenets of the faith in anticipation of passing to the Abha Kingdom.
Family members will always remember his smile and enthusiasm for life, love of poetry and literature, joyful singing for his wife, and dancing with his children and grandchildren. Special thanks to Houston Hospice for providing comfort to Mr. Rouhani in his final days. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home.
A funeral service for Hefzollah will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a committal service from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
