Ira Keichaion Bell was born on July 16, 1969 at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA, to parents Willis & Cecile Bell. Ira was baptized in New Genesis Baptist Church at the age of five by Minister Phillip Gaylord in New Orleans, LA. Ira attended Abramson Kennedy and was a drum major at John Mack High School in New Orleans, LA.
At seventeen Ira left John Mack and started a career delivering furniture eventually becoming store manager. From store manager to driving eighteen wheelers, he drove for twenty three years including driving for Fed Ex.
Ira’s hobby was motorcycles, he loved motorcycles more than cars or trucks. The only thing he loved more was his family. He promised his mother that one day he would finish school. One day took a long time but finally graduated on October 21, 2005, from University High School.
Ira had long battle with cancer, always in pain, but what he went through on earth won’t matter because he is in a better place now. Say hello to your Grandparents and Aunts for us, tell them we miss them all, and think of them often, but we miss you the most.
