She was born to James and Jo Ann Keuer on June 15, 1957, in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Janet was raised in Medford Wisconsin, graduated High School and briefly attended college before moving to Indiana in 1975. She met her husband of 40 years, Michael Lucchesi in 1980 and they married in 1981. Janet bore her first son, Peter Lucchesi in 1985 and in 1986 she had a second son, Christopher Lucchesi. She was a loving mother and wife working multiple jobs over the years but always maintaining her primary position as a stay-at-home wife and homemaker as well as a longtime member of her church band.
Janet became a grandmother in 2012 when her first grandchild, Kaitlyn Lucchesi was born. She became a grandmother again when her second grandchild, Hunter Lucchesi was born in 2014. Due to her love for her grandchildren, Janet and Michael moved to Houston Texas in 2017. Janet lived out the final years of her life surrounded by her husband, sons, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. Janet is survived by her husband Michael, son Peter Lucchesi and partner Michael Wood, son Chris Lucchesi and daughter-in-law Kristen Lucchesi as well as grandchildren Kaitlyn and Hunter Lucchesi, her mother Jo Ann Keuer, brother Kim Keuer and partner Carolann Clark, sister Patty and brother-in-law Mike Bates, sister Carol and brother-in-law Patrick Gaab, and sister Sarah Keuer. Janet is predeceased by her father James Keuer and her brothers Paul and Peter Keuer.
Janet will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Janet’s larger than life personality made her endearing to all she met. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation for Janet will be held Monday, May 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble TX. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at North Central Church, 25130 Aldine Westfield Rd, Spring, TX . A committal service will occur Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX .
