Jesse “Chuy” Carranza, sixty-seven, proudly served in the United States Army. Drafted in 1970, he was honorably discharged in 1972. After a long battle with an injury to his head, Jesse passed away peacefully on September 24, 2019 at home in Houston, Texas.
Jesse was born in Houston, Texas on August 6, 1952 to Gregorio and Elvira Carranza. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Frances Rodriguez, Vidala and Jesse Flores, Rudy and Mary Carranza, Vincent Carranza, & Ruben and Sally Carranza, along with numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Jesse was preceded in rest by his parents; his son Jesse Carranza Jr.; his siblings, Eddie Carranza, Domingo Carranza, Johnny Carranza, Angie Ramirez, Janie Cerda & Catalina Carranza.
Jesse will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his friends and family alike for his loyalty and love for them.
