John lived life on his own terms. He was a builder in every sense of the word—he built houses, small businesses, sheds, decks, and dreams. He had a talent for seeing something in his mind and turning it into something real with his hands. He was proud of his work, and rightfully so.
He loved adventure. Whether it was camping, road-tripping, or just a good story over a cold beer, John was always chasing something exciting. He had a thing for fast cars, fast boats, big houses, and big trucks. He lit up around heavy machinery and loved getting behind the wheel of a tractor or anything with power.
John was a man of strong faith. He believed deeply in God and leaned on that belief through every high and low in life. His faith gave him strength.
He is survived by his two children, Jonathan Moreland and Mallory Schreiber. They will always carry pieces of him—in their stubbornness, their creativity, and their stories.
He’ll be missed more than words can say, but we know he’s off building something incredible on the other side with his mother, father, and sister.
