Johnny Bruce Christie

He graduated from Smiley High School in 1969. He worked and retired as a Master Jaguar Mechanic. He was actively involved in fixing anything someone needed fixed and spending time with family

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Faye Morgan, and siblings Barbara, David, and Sherri.

He is survived by his spouse Cheryl Christie, children Shawna and Steve Stokes, Reiannon and Mike Dillard, Lauren Christie and Oliver Brooks, grandchildren, Summer Stokes, Jonathan Dillard, Alissa Gower, Shawn Stokes, Brianna Dillard, Addalyn Brooks and Athena Brooks.

The family would like to thank all our friends and family for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days. We couldn’t have asked for more support from everyone.

Family and friends are invited to attend a short visitation at Spring Baptist on April 27th at 8am with a service to follow at 9am. Visitation with friends will be at Calvary Hill Funeral Home on April 26th from 4-8pm. Interment to follow at VA National Cemetery.
