I am thankful for our friendship and cherish our many conversations. You always encouraged me to fight the good fight and showed genuine love toward myself and my family. I have so many good memories. I will miss you coming into work and putting your hand on my shoulder and asking me how I was doing. Some funny memories are when you would ask if you needed to, "hold my purse," so I could really swing a hammer. Likewise, when you would tell me that, "you only have to be ten percent smarter than what you are working on." I am also thankful for the many times we "broke bread together." Thank you Jose for what you showed me and your friendship. You are a true ace, always have been, always will be.

José, know that you have left a void in this family that can never be replaced. You have been an amazing husband to Neri, and loving father to Jacob and Sammy. Your presence and conversations will be missed but I have comfort knowing that you are still near in spirit, listening in and laughing at what someone might say… You were  always the quiet one but somehow learned to keep up with our bunch. I enjoyed our conversation at work about Christ and what it ment to be a believer. Jose was definitely a follower of Christ and it show in his work ethic and the way he treated his coworkers.  He will be deeply missed. Have fun with Jesus!!!!Jose, Will see you again one day.

Jose Alba was a wonderful friend to my brother Frank. He was kind and caring. Whenever I would see him at work he would always have a smile on his face and he would always ask how I was doing and how my brother was doing. Deeply saddened with his passing. Rest in Peace Alba.  

Hose-A, you will truly be missed. It’s been so long since I moved away from Houston but I remember how you would always give me such a hard time at work, and all to better myself.  You were a role model and such a consistently kind person.  I could always go to you for advice whether it be about work, or life in general. For the short time we’d known each other, I can say without a shadow of doubt that God was proud of you. From reading all the comments, you’d touched so many lives including mine. Farewell my friend. Alba was one of the best people I've had the pleasure of calling a friend. Whether it was on Xbox, work, random nights out  or at the always amazing Christmas parties when we worked at Sewell together he was someone who was a pleasure to be around.  He never got mad at me when I didn't know what the right part was. He loaned me tools I didn't have and then showed me how to use them. When I was stressed being a jerk he never matched my energy. Always diffusing whatever situation.
He never knew it but he was a big reason I made it through some of the toughest times in my life. He was one of the best of us in every aspect of life and I will miss him.

Buddy it’s been a true blessing sharing all the memories and struggles with you. From going to the gym with you to tackling all the work we had spending late night evenings working . I’m going to miss all the jokes we used to share and silly moments to our Bible studies in the morning.  Buddy I miss you may you Rest In Peace and my most sincere condolences to your family. 

Hello Ace, still remember going in to work all grumpy because of how early I was waking up. Jose your smile will always shine a light not only in my life but in the life of others.  Jose always wanted the best from his peers challenging to do right and making everyone around him their best version of who they were. His strong will to always get better in life was beyond imagining. My brother I will miss those soccer days with Jacob and Sam. Those fun all night video game nights as well, but over all the times I will miss the most is seeing you happy those Houston Texans days at your home with your beautiful wife and lovely children, with all your loving friends there. We will cross pathways ounce again god willing brother. 

So many memories come to mind when I think of Jose. For the better part of 5 years Jose and I played golf every Sunday and after golf I would come  to his house and spend time with his amazing family. From the time we played golf in the rain and saw lightning strike and split a tree in half, to watching the Texans game at his house and screaming so loud his mother-in-law got so scared the cake she was holding hit the ceiling of the house or the time during Easter when Jose and Neri cracked a confetti egg on my head. However the moment that best describes Jose was the morning I picked him up to play Golf and his car was missing from the drive way, it had been stolen. But he wasn’t  mad or angry like most people would be, he was just upset and sad. Jose would rarely get mad at someone or at a situation, he was always positive and happy. Even on that day we still went to play golf, and even though it was was one of his worst rounds ever, we still laughed the whole time, never mad about what taken from him but happy about what was in front of him. 

Alba's family, I am shocked to hear the news and am deeply sorry for your loss. For the time Jose and I worked together, he would always put his family first. Would not hesitate to help others or give advise. We enjoyed his company after work to play soccer. You'll truly be missed Jose.

So  many thoughts come to mind when it comes to Alba, simply put he was just a great human being.  Alba had integrity and values that he wouldn’t compromise for anyone.  He was a great family man, that would have done anything to protect them.  What I knew him for most was a good friend, someone that always gave you that which is so simple yet so hard to give nowadays. That was TIME, no matter what Alba was the person that if you needed help he was there for anyone.  You needed advice he was there to give you knowledge.  When you think of a person and can’t think of one single negative instance that ever happen through the years.  That is JOSE ALBA.  A truly remarkable human being, without a doubt will be missed.

Jose you were a good dad roll model for Jacob and Sammy. They will both follow your footsteps. You were a good and supportive husband to Neri.   Those special memories of you will always bring a smile.  The fact that you're no longer here will always cause us pain, but it gives me comfort to know you are watching over and guiding us.  I'm sure you will find a way to continue to interfere with my daily, and yes, multiple conversations with my sister.
