Jose Mendoza

Jose was born on November 14th of 1943 in Paras, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Left to cherish his loving memories are his wife of 55 years, Maria Mendoza, his five children, sons and daughters in law, Jose and Pamela Mendoza, Roberto Carlos and Laura Mendoza. Daughters and sons in law, Cynthia and Ramiro Lujano, Nancy and Phillip Armendarez and Nereida Alba. His thirteen grandchildren, David and Madelyn Mendoza, R.J., Emilio and Emily Lujano, Jacob and Samuel Alba, Benicio, Elicia and Liliana Mendoza, Joel, Camila, and Ryan Armendarez. Brothers, Fernando Mendoza, Noe Mendoza Jr., his sisters Noemi Mendoza and Cristina Garza. Numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Jose is preceded in death by his newborn son, Roberto Mendoza, Parents Noe and Dubelza Mendoza, brother Edefren Mendoza, sisters Francisca Arteaga and Pura Mendoza.

Jose was a man of faith who loved the Lord and his family, especially his grandchildren. They were the sparkle in his eyes. He loved to sing karaoke and was a jokester at heart. He was always willing to lend a hand or give advice to those in need. Jose was a great man, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed tremendously.

A visitation for Jose will be held Monday, April 28, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cem, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A visitation will occur Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A committal service will occur Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338.
