Juana Luz Mejia

Juana was a very strong independent daughter/mother. In her early years she was eager to explore the world and establish a well living. When Juana moved to Texas from Mexico she enrolled at Gary Job core in San Marcos, Texas where she received a degree in court stenographer. After her graduation she moved to Houston, Texas where she worked at Dunkin’ Donuts for 5 years and Sally beauty supply for almost 20 years.

She left to Galveston, Texas to be closer to her sister which then she began working at Walmart as a night stacker. Juana was loved by the love of her life Joel Gonzalez along with her siblings , children and grandchildren.

She’s lives on by her children Evelyn Roded Gonzalez and son in law Moses Salinas, Julio Alberto Mejia and daughter in law Mayra Mejia, Maria Gabriela Mejia and son in law Calvin Garcia, Adriana Daisy Cortez and son in law James Cortez Sr. She is lives on by her siblings Carlos Santos + sister in law Mariaelena  Santos, Maria-Alba Mejia, Marcial Mejia and sister in law Maribel Mejia, Clara Garcia and brother in law Felix Garcia, Cesaria Gonzalez and brother in law Carlos Gonzalez, Adriana Mejia+, Patricia Ramirez and brother in law Armando Cano. Grandchildren Mael Salinas, Solara Mejia, Isek Mejia, Camila Mejia+, Oziel Mejia, Ximena Mejia, Aracelly Martinez, Jolee Cortez, FaithAnn Cortez, Sadie Cortez + and James Cortez Jr.
