Keith Magarret Wright Sr.

Keith Magarret Wright passed away on March 10, 2022 at the age of 52, in Houston, Texas. Although Keith battled with his serious health conditions over the years, he showed tremendous courage in facing his medical issues and life’s challenges. Keith always walked with his head held high and stayed strong until the end. Keith was a quiet, but talkative, funny, and compassionate person. He loved to laugh at his own jokes.

Keith was born in Valdosta, Ga, on September 5, 1969 to his mother Emma Wright Washington and his Father Edward Ford Wright, but spent most of his life his life in Houston, Texas. Keith had a lifelong love of cars which led him to own and operate a paint and body shop for a while. Even when his health declined, Keith would still tinker on his cars.

Keith was survived by his beloved, Erica, Mother Emma, and Father Edward. His children Keith Jr, Christian, Essence, Arianna, and stepchildren Lauren, Myles, and Andre. His grandchildren, Olivia, Noah, Keith III, Karter, Micah, Aria, and Leila. His Brothers, Willie and Michael, Sisters Vickie, LaShanda and Felicia. His Sister-in-law Shirley. His Nephews Antonio (predeceased), Chase, Marcus, Willie, and Keuntae. His Nieces Breonna, Ariel, E’Maunna, A’Briya, Victoria, Destini, and Easton. His Aunts, Catherine, and Earlene. Also, many family members and friends.

A visitation for Keith will be held Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Rev. Thomas E. Jones will officiate.
