Leo Garza

Leonel "Leo" Garza, age 50, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Leo was born May 25, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Jesus Maria Garza and Maria Emma Cisneros de Garza. On December 12, 2010 he was married to Aidee Beltran.

Leo was a graduate of St Ludmilla Grammar School, Quigley South High School, and Daley Junior College where he earned an Associates degree in Criminology. During his life, he lived in Chicago, Monterrey Mexico, and Houston, and went on to have a career as a truck driver. Leo loved sports and was fiercely loyal to his Chicago and Monterrey roots. He was an avid supporter of the Chicago White Sox, Tigres UANL, and Chicago Bulls. Leo loved being around his family and friends, and showed how much he cherished them by always being ready to feed them.

Leo was preceded in passing by his parents Jesus Maria Garza and Maria Emma Cisneros de Garza. He is survived by his wife Aidee Beltran and daughter Andrea Emma; brother Eduardo Garza; sisters Martha E Garza and Allagracia Garza; cousins Raphael, Luciano, Hector, Patricia, Laura, Martha and Jose; nieces and nephews, Raul Mateo Sanchez, Israel Sebastian Sanchez, Eduardo Beltran, Cecilia Beltran, Emilio Beltran, Daniel Escobar, Katherine Escobar, Kelly, Camila Garcia, Abraham, Giovanni Ondarza, Estibaly, Kelly, Ilse Ochoa, Aglae, Grace Goyzueta, Eugenio, Rolando Garcia, Eduardo, Arianna, Alfonso, Allison Garza, Jose "Pepito" and Saira; siblings-in-law Eduardo Beltran, Isabell Sanchez, Adriana Beltran, Elisa Garcia.

A visitation for Leo will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Centro Cristiano Alpha Omega, 5621 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77076. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, 5621 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77091. A viewing ceremony will occur Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A burial will occur Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM. A committal service will occur Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338.
