He was born in Neosha, MO on March 30, 1944.
Jr was a master carpenter with fine motor skills and an eye for detail. He was always a phone call away to help a relative or friend on restoring, creating, or building projects. What set Jr apart was not just his skill, but his heart. A true friend and comedian at heart, he infused warmth and laughter into every project, making the process as memorable as the creations themselves. Jr loved the outdoors. He loved to fish. He was good-hearted, kind, loving, and very independent.
Jr was preceded in death by his parents Virginia and Lyle Hoppas, and sister Marilyn Martin.
He is survived by his sisters Sharion and husband Kenneth Boston, Judy Thornton, and Brenda Fick as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He accepted Christ as his personal savior. Until we are reunited, he will be forever in our hearts.
We would like you to join us in remembrance of his 80 years in a small, private celebration.
A memorial service will be held at noon on Tuesday, May 28th at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Located at 21723 Aldine Westfield Road Humble Texas 77338. Refreshments are to follow.
