Margaret was born December 6, 1929 to Walter and Nell Toomey in Beeville TX. She was raised with her brother Joe in Beeville where she lived a joyful life, entering and winning numerous beauty pageants in the area. She was truly the life of the party and the Belle of the ball. After attending Texas A&M Kingsville, she met her husband of 46 years, Julian “Will” Bentz while working at United Gas in Beeville. Soon after marriage on June 21, 1952, the family transferred to Shreveport LA where Margaret worked as a proud Cafeteria Manager for Shreveport ISD ensuring that students ate well prepared lunches, while raising their three children. She proudly served as team Mom for several of her son’s little league teams. She also enjoyed supporting her daughter’s love for twirling, making costumes, and traveling to competitions. The family transferred to Spring TX in 1975 where they joined St. James Catholic church. Margaret volunteered at the church for several years, and was involved in the Spring Timers group where she enjoyed the fellowship of so many friends within the group. Survived by her loving daughter Terri Bentz Theall (Craig). Grandchildren, Ashley (Ryan), Adley (Blake), Ryan (Amanda), Amber (Brody), Taylor, and five great grandchildren.
She is preceded in rest by her parents Walter and Nell Toomey. Loving husband Will. Sons Jay and Michael. And Brother Joseph.
Margaret had a zest for life and a sassy soul, along with a caring and compassionate demeanor for all in which she came in contact with.
