Michael grew up in the Bear Creek area and attended Bear Creek Elementary, Mayde Creek Middle and Mayde Creek High Schools. He received a scholarship to University of Houston and graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Communications. His hobby was writing screen plays and had dreams of writing / producing / filming his original work. When Michael was in the first grade, Lori enrolled him into Scouts where he ultimately achieved all ranks from Tiger to Eagle. Michael also served in the Order of the Arrow where he provided cheerful service in the Houston Community. The Scout Oath and Law continued to be his compass in working with others. He was generous with his time and resources, doing a Good Turn Daily and Random Acts of Kindness were second nature to him.
Michael had one of the funniest senses of dry humor and kept his family and friends entertained at all gatherings. He was articulate and well read and could hold his own on his side of any debate.
He was a wonderful and unique individual and will be missed by many. His life was full of family and friends, always thinking of others and will be sorely missed. Godspeed Michael.
