Rae Marie Ammons

Rae Marie Ammons, 82, of Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025. She was born on October 15, 1942, in San Antonio, Texas, to Kenny Weldon Green and Vivian Marie Caldwell. Rae was a proud graduate of Waltrip High School, where she began to form lifelong friendships and experiences.

On her journey through life, Rae married the love of her life, Daniel Bernard Ammons, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage. Together, they built a family and a life filled with love and joy. Rae was passionate about dancing, sewing, and cooking, and she found great joy in expressing her creativity through these hobbies. Her nurturing spirit and her ability to make others feel cared for through her cooking and attention to detail were hallmarks of her life.

Rae is survived by her loving children, Daniel Eric Ammons and wife Diana, and Christopher Dean Ammons and wife Reesa; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Kelsey Suzanne Ammons, Paige Elizabeth Ammons, and Zachary Thomas Ammons.

Rae was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Bernard Ammons; her daughter, Suzanne Denise Ammons; her parents, Kenny Weldon Green and Vivian Maria Caldwell; and her brothers, Joe Green and Kenny Green.

Rae will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and love for her family will remain in their hearts forever.
