

Rodolfo “Rudy” Hernandez born February 17, 1980 in San Antonio, Texas was called to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the age of 33. Rudy was as a graduate of the University of Technical Institute, where he continued to pursue his dreams of restoring vehicles. Rudy was an avid lover of Ford Mustangs, in which, he named his youngest daughter, Saleen. Following the footsteps of his father and grandfather, he was able to do what he loved best. To those who knew Rudy, when he entered a room, his smile was contagious. His sense of humor and love for family and friends were strongly known and established for life. Rudy never met a stranger, he met a friend. By the age of twenty five, Rudy was proud to provide a home for his fiancée, Wendy and daughter, Reina. Four years later, they welcomed their second daughter, Madison Saleen.
His life was dedicated to family and friends. Rudy’s strength, passion and love could pull you through and anything.
Rudy is survived by his two beautiful girls, Reina Andrea Rivas, Madison Saleen and their mother, Wendy Solorzano. Courageous and loving mother, Mary Esther Garcia and Ray Garcia.

Rudy would also have wanted to recognize his guiding stepfather, Ruben Salazar. Rudy appreciated the way he cared for us as a family.
His supportive, loving and caring sisters: Genevieve Hernandez, Patricia Hernandez and Carlos Garces, Stephanie and Adrian Gomez. His loving little brother, Steven and Sophorn Salazar, stepbrother Robert Eugene Garcia and Brandy Garcia, stepbrother Ray Anthony Garcia. Growing nieces: Alyssa, Amira, Serina, Mireya, Natalia and Arianna and his nephew, David. Maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Joe & Rosie Klonek and Mr. Manuel Loera.
Paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Joe & Ramona Hernandez. Several caring aunts, uncles, cousins and many family friends.
Remember our “Big Hoss” or “Big Guns” whichever he would share with you. He enjoyed racing, laughing, dancing and always proving a positive spirit. May we always remember his loud laugh and contagious smile.
