Willie Thomas Horace Sr.

He later met and married Lillie Jean Horace in 1959. Together, they had five children. After Lillie's passing, Willie later married Geneva Dennis Horace in 1993 in which he shared 25 blessed years of love until his passing.

On April 22, 2018, Willie T. departed this life. He was preceded in rest by his mother Cleora Covington, father Sherman Horace Sr, brother Sherman Horace Jr, first wife Lillie Horace, 3 sons Willie Jr, Darryl, baby Andre.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife Geneva Horace, children Vanessa, Chirlanda (James), Jim, Henry, Carl, Betty, Keith (Maxine), Monica, Marcus, Jerald (Barbara), Jerome, Casandra. 19 grands, 18 great-grand, sister Ernestine Odom (Warren) ,Uncle SonnyBoy-Roman Spillar, best friend Tump, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Willie T. was a calm and laid-back kind of guy who loved cars and his family. He was employed at Safety Light for several years until his retirement in 2001. In his spare time, he enjoyed driving around Acres Homes in his brown truck that read "Paw Paw's Truck" and also liked hanging with his friends under the tree on Ezzard Charles (especially with his best friend, Tump).

Willie T. was a man of few words but he loved being on the go! He loved traveling with his family or riding out on the town. People knew him by his truck. Willie T. was dearly loved by his family and friends and will truly be missed.
