Alfred Joseph D'Ambra Jr.

Alfred was born on July 30, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY, to parents, Alfred Joseph Sr. and Gemma (Iannucci) D’Ambra.

Alfred was proud to have served in the Army; four years active and five year reserved. He enjoyed gambling, vacationing, food, especially sweets, and loved cats, the Philadelphia Flyers, New York Yankees, tinkering with things, and spending time with family and friends. He was a man full of life and loved everything and everyone.

Alfred was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Clara Ruello and Jennie “Sister” Lijoi.

Alfred is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda (Shallow) D’Ambra; son, Ray and wife, Rachel Bruner; grandchildren, Kourtnie and husband, Alexander, Michael, Angelina, and Alexandria; great-grandchildren, Julianna, and Mason; niece, Jeanie; great-niece, Jennifer and husband, Joe; and his cat, Princess.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Mr. Alfred and Mrs. Linda D’Ambra on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, from 12:00pm – 1:00pm, with a Service to follow at 1:00pm.
