Anna Mae Capers died on Friday March 23, 2012 at the Hawthorne Village in Ocala, FL. She was 93 years of age. Born in Mahanoy City, PA she was the daughter of the late William and Anna Bailey Bernstel. Anne was a resident of Ocala for the past 6 years and previously lived in Williamstown, NJ and Philadelphia, PA.
Anna was a retired employee of Abington Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed bingo and crocheting.
Anna was the beloved wife of Isaac Capers, Jr. before his death in 2006. She was the mother Carol (Donald) Long of Ocala, the late Shirley Long and the late Mary Mowery. She is also survived by her sister Edna Hartman of Mohnton, PA 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 11 to 12 noon. Her funeral Service will follow at 12 noon. The interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
