Arline H. (Kohn) Greenberg-Cohen

Arline H. Greenberg-Cohen, age 85, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2023 in Deerfield Beach, FL. Arline was born on September 19, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA, to parents Benjamin Cohen and Ethel Ostroff.

She was a member of Sisterhood at our Synagogue for many years. She loved traveling, going to the casino, dancing, and listening to music - especially Cher! She was also Vice President of her condo association. Arline had a great sense of humor and a vibrant personality. Close friends and family loved to joke and call her “sassy”.

She is survived by her brother Jerry Kohn and her sister-in-law, Ilene Kohn; her daughters, Gerri Fleischker Shapiro, Barri (Edward) Riley, and Alexis Fleischker; her grandchildren, Brett (Chelsea) Riley, Joli (Justin) Edwards, Marisa (Brendan) Riley, Joey (Michael) Riley, April (Robert) Patterson, Edward Riley Jr., and David Riley; and her great-grandchildren MacKenzie Edwards and Benjamin Patterson.

She is preceded in death by her spouses, Allan Fleischker and David Greenberg, and by her son-in-law, Mark Shapiro.

A graveside service for Arline will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 3573 Pine Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania.
