She was born in Philadelphia on March 14, 1923 to Carl P. Gutekunst and Lela Marlatt Gutekunst. She was very proud to be a graduate of Girls High, Eventually she moved to Bensalem with her husband Clarence B. Graebner and two daughters Barbara and Linda.
After retiring from Penndel Mental Health as their receptionist, she went on to volunteer at Holy Redeemer Hospital feeding babies of staff in their daycare. Oh, how she loved babies. She spent a lot of time watching the Phillies play and at one time was an usher at Shibe Park before it became Connie Mack Stadium in 1953.
Her passion was the Trevose Heights Rescue Squad where she was President, Captain of Nurses, Lieutenant of Nurses and a longtime member of the board of directors. She was also one of the first females to drive an ambulance. She will always be remembered for her willingness to take on any task or job and see it through to completion.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence B. Graebner and John McCarron.
Caroline is survived by her daughter Barbara Orr, her grandchildren Lara Fleck and Preston Orr, and great-grandchildren Nicole and Raymond Orr. Daughter Linda Misoda and husband Michael J. Misoda, their children Michael B. Misoda and wife Anne O’Day, and great grandchildren Jack and Katie Misoda. Daughter Melissa Misoda and husband Andrew Misoda and great grandchildren Parker and Rowan Misoda. Also survived by Steve McCarron and children Quinn and Olivia McCarron. Lisa McCarron(deceased) and son Sam Pedrick.
