Constance J O'Neill

Constance “Connie” J. O’Neill died on Thursday December 1, 2011 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA. Born in Philadelphia, she has lived in Albrightsville for the past 11 years. She had previously been a longtime resident of Philadelphia. Connie was the daughter of the late Ferguson and Dorothy Tynan Hendrie.

Mrs. O’Neill was a retired assistant bank manager with PNC Bank in Jenkintown, PA. She enjoyed floral arranging, handy crafts and travel. Connie was a Communicant of St. Peter the Fisherman Parish in Lake Harmony, PA, she had previously been a member of St. Christopher Parish in Philadelphia.

Connie was the beloved wife of Joseph R. O’Neill, Sr. for 55 years. She was the devoted mother of Joseph R. (Tanya) O’Neill of Abington, Timothy O’Neill, Holland, PA, Stephen (Michelle Vitali) O’Neill of Edinboro, PA, and Francis (Lori) O’Neill of Philadelphia. She was the grandmother of Luke, Karima, Justin (Star) O’Neill, Albert Trama, Kayla Concepcion, Katie Kooper, Madeleine, Henry and Breanna O’Neill; great grandmother of Lilly, Justin, Leah O’Neill. She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Novack of Lakewood, PA. She was Nana to Carol and Trevor Keefer.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM on Friday December 9, 2011 at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116. The families will receive friends from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass. Her entombment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Philadelphia
