

He was a long time resident of Feasterville, PA. Donald was born on September 18, 1936, in Camden NJ, to Charles Joseph Packer and Florence (nee Fidler) Packer, second to youngest siblings. He is survived by James Packer. He attended Woodrow Wilson H.S. and continued his education in the school of "Hard Knocks". Worked from 1958 to 1996 a total of 38 years at "Pennwalt Stokes" throughout their history to later become "Stokes Vacume".
Don's interests were traveling to various countries, fine dining, cooking, wood working, and a list of many more but nothing could top his love for being "Dr. Fish" while deep sea fishing.
Donald was blessed by his children, Donna and husband Charles (Skip) Rimby, and Donald W. Packer Jr, and partner Patricia Helmes, the late Barry Bornstein and Sheryl Mininger. Grandchildren, Dana Marie Packer, Charles E Rimby IV, Alysha Rimby, Jason and wife, Kate Mininger, Neil Mininger, the late Donald W. Packer III, and the late Ivy Hayes. Great Grandchildren, Levi Hickman, Thomas West, Hayden Packer, Matthew Packer, Nicholas West, Maggie and Sophie Mininger, Joseph and Leland Hayes, Josh and wife, Kristi Bornstein, child, Jameson, Jill and Matt Perazzelli, children, Emma Lynn and Alessandra.
There will be no viewing or service. The immediate family will be having a private memorial for Donald and his late wife Renee, to celebrate their life together.
