

She was a long-time resident of Northeast Philadelphia (Magee Avenue), and more recently she was a resident at Juniper Village in Bensalem.
Dorothy was born on June 27, 1927 in Wichita, KS, to parents, Ora Lyle Nestelroad and Anita Elva Hatfield. She graduated from Wichita East High School in 1945. Dorothy moved from Wichita to Philadelphia in 1945 with her devoted husband, Louis Paul (deceased). They met during WWII when Louis was stationed in Wichita. Dorothy, while helping in the family fruit business, was predominantly a housewife; taking care of their children and home.
Dorothy enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading and most of all shopping. She enjoyed spending time with her family, summers at the Jersey Shore and traveling back to Kansas whenever she could. Dorothy, in later years was a frustrated Bingo player as well as a Law & Order devotee.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents (Ora and Anita Nestelroad), all of her siblings (Forrest Harry, Norma Jean, Margaret Louise and Ora Lyle), her daughter (Charlotte Paul), her husband (Louis Paul) and her son-in-law (Fred Cenziper).
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Anita Cenziper, her son Curtis Paul (Diane), her granddaughter Cherie Compostella, her granddaughter Barbie Spear (John) and her 3 great-grandchildren Lois, Benjamin and William.
A visitation is scheduled from 9:00-11:00 am on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Lamb Funeral Home located at 101 Byberry Road, Huntington Valley, PA 19006, followed by a Funeral Service from 11:00-12:00 pm, and interment at Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 at 12:00 pm.
Following the Services and interment, guests are invited back to the Spear’s residence for lunch.
