James Edward Floczak Sr.

James E. Sr. “Jim” Floczak died Sunday April 24, 2016 at the Pittsburgh Presbyterian Hospital (UMPC). He was born on September 21, 1939, he was the loving son of the late Frank Floczak, Sr. and Louise Benson Floczak.

James was the beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Galati) for 54 years before her death in 2010. He was the devoted father of Rosemarie (Thomas) Floczak Power, James E. Floczak, Jr., Christine (Joseph) Floczak Nardone, and Phyllis Floczak Lucia. Jim was the loving Grandfather to Vincent Power, Brian Power, Rosemarie Power, Ashley (Justin) Lanatto, Samantha Power, Philomena (Steve)Rose, Christine Nardone, Christian Lucia, Marty Power, Madison Power, Caila Nardone, Tyler Lucia, Ryan Floczak, Lucas Floczak and 6 Great-grandchildren. He was the loving brother of Frank (Marion) Floczak, Jr. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Floczak was a retired member of the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers Local 30 in Philadelphia. He was an outdoors men and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

James was a Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the FVW Post 2088 in Everett, PA and the American Legion.

Relatives and friends are invited to his service at 1 PM on Friday, April 29th at the Lamb Funeral Home (at Forest Hills), 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of service. His Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
